Who may apply?

Individuals, Groups and Societies.

There is no age restriction.  Anyone can apply on behalf of someone who needs help.

Who can be given help:

To qualify for assistance you must be in financial need and  reside in the Cheltenham post code areas of GL50, GL51, GL52 or GL53  but preference will be given to residents of the ecclesiastical Parish of Prestbury Gloucestershire, Swindon Village and Southam.

Examples of Previous Benefits are:

  • Assistance for Single Parent families
  • Providing white goods
  • Providing bedroom furniture
  • Providing school clothing
  • Equipment for the Village Schools
  • Repairs and redecoration
  • Counselling
  • Assistance for Youth Groups

How to Apply.

If you need financial help, or if you are aware of anyone needing help, please contact any of the Trustees or the Clerk. All applications are treated in STRICT CONFIDENCE.

For individuals seeking help a form needs to be completed.   Please print, complete and return it to the clerk (at the address shown on the form).  We normally expect such applications through a supporting professional person.

Groups and organisations should apply by letter with supporting documents to the clerk (at the address below).

The Trustees are required to assess all applications within the terms of the Charity.
